How much therapy will I need?

People with underactive pelvic floor muscles who's main complaints are related to fitness concerns, incontinence, prolapse, or diastasis recti typically are seen for 4-8 treatments.

People with overactive pelvic floor muscles who's main complaints are contributing to sitting pain, constipation, urinary retention, or sexual dysfunction typically need between 6-12 visits.

Visit frequency is typically every 1-2 weeks.

Please note...

Payment

We are a small, fee-for-service clinic and collect payment at the time of service. Forms of payment include cash, checks made out to "The OB PT Clinic," most major debit or credit cards, and most HSA cards.

Insurance Plan Coverage

This clinic does not contract with insurance providers.  We are “out of network” with all insurance plans and do not file claims on patients' behalf. Upon request, we can provide you with an itemized bill with the required information needed to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Most insurances, cost sharing plans, and health savings accounts will reimburse the cost of physical therapy during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and for the pelvic health concerns of all genders. Please check your policy to know for sure.

Medicare

Dr. Rader sees Medicare patients at another clinic location.  Please see "Contact" section for details on scheduling.
